- Where am I spending most of my time right now?
a) Best way to find out is to pick up my FREE Hotmess To Success Time Management PDF! After you’ve gotten clear on where you’re spending your time, set up a complimentary consultation to go over your findings!
b) I can guarantee you have no clue where you’re spending your time and how long each task takes. Social media…15 minutes. Sure to spend that amount of time creating the “perfect” post, then add 30 minutes of scrolling and liking allthethings. PS – little tip on that, before you post, go to the people you want to see your post right away and comment on their latest post/picture/video. THEN do yours. It will put you at the top of their feed so they can see all your greatness 🙂 What am I doing that I really hate or that as a CEO I shouldn’t be doing?
c) Make a list of EVERYTHING you do for your business AND life. Dump that ish all on a piece of paper or 10 (if you are anything like me when I first did this 6 years ago).
d) THEN, circle all the things you don’t like doing in one color. Then the things that you already know can be outsourced in another color. THEN highlight the items that you LOVE, bring you joy and are soul-aligned, revenue-generating, life-fulfilling things. These are your non-negotiables. This is crucial. I also recommend snagging my Hotmess to Success Time Management PDF and going through that, as I guarantee you’re forgetting things you don’t even realize you’re doing! We all do it, it’s cool, there are no wrong answers. Just remember, this is your business and you get to create it the way YOU want, not how you’re being told online how it is supposed to look. What works for one doesn’t necessarily mean it works for all.
e) Set up a complimentary call to go over how to effectively take this and make the best plan of attacking your business for growth and getting your sanity back, and revenue UP.
- Do I have the revenue to hire a reliable and efficient team to take on the right tasks?
a) This is important. It’s ok if you’re not at that coveted 6 figure or 7 figure arena yet. There are always ways to outsource, be it for a team of 2 or 15 contractors working for you.
b) Likely the first role you will need to fill is a VA – virtual assistant. This means something different for everyone. You may need someone who also has WordPress experience to upload your blogs, social media and ad creating experience, customer service experience, and/or major organization skills. Someone who is familiar with using the software you use, your website and hosting, your CRM, payment processor, etc. Where do you find these people? I am glad you asked! Fill out this form (could you use a typeform here or something to vet them a little) to request to jump on a call with me and I’ll help you break down how to add the right next team member! So the best place to start and where I also started was upwork.com. Write down all your needs and questions. When do they work, how many hours, do they have experience in allthethings, there are SO many questions to ask! It can be a lot of work and trial and error, so I highly recommend getting help from someone who knows the ins and outs of hiring the RIGHT team. Best thing is to do some of this homework, fill out this pre-call questionnaire: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScOZ13sTsUq5B5dFz3OgUrki1zgip40P_p84Br5Up4NN6nxRw/viewform and set up a complimentary call and I will help you break down how to add the right next team member and help you learn from my mistakes!
