Hellllo!! Yes yes yes, I year you! When I was holding onto 1 business it was actually super stressful every month making sure I was delivering and making what I needed to take care of myself and my son. I was working for entrepreneurial training companies at the time in leadership roles for operations and coaching higher level clients so that was my primary income and I didn’t really focus on anything else. So when I was in what I thought was a forever position then found myself walking away, quite abruptly, I was a bit at a loss.
I spent years focusing and building other people’s businesses and making them more money, while not giving much attention or focus to my own, I had a great Network Marketing company I was ignoring for the most part and an exceptional team I was being a poor leader in. I barely was showing up on social media, certainly not consistently and when I was it was about my beautiful little boy.
I spent so much time BEHIND the visionary, the CEO, the person talking on the big stage at their own events I planned down to the napkin color, I was hiding. My identity was in their business, their right hand person. So when I was “just me” I was like WTF. What do I do, how do I show up, who am I, why would anyone listen to me, allthethings.
I will go into all of that more in another blog as one can spend daaaaays on limiting beliefs and how to flip the switch on those, we’re talking revenue streams here. Point was I was without my main revenue and had one very part time, ignored revenue stream, and mouths to feed, you’re supposed to feed kids still right??
SO I had to think quickly about how to turn that around. I knew I was great at coaching so I started doing that. All by referral. I also started doing operational consulting. Then added more focus to my network marketing company, which started to grow incredibly. Fast forward and now I have multiple streams so if one dries up or has a bad month, it’s cool, I have others to fall back on that are also growing at the same time.
That is the point. Remember that saying Don’t put your eggs in one basket? Don’t put all your revenue in one basket.
There are a ton of ways to add income streams, network marketing companies, there are so many, if you want to know the ones I support click here! There is affiliate marketing, where you promote someone else’s content, training etc and get paid a commission. It’s a great way to grow revenue, some with little effort, though you do have to let people know you’re actually doing it!
Here is the company I support and love their training! Listen though, there are SO many ways to be an affiliate, are you in a mastermind group? Do you have a coach you’re working with? Most heavy hitting trainers in the online space have affiliate programs. Also many of the softwares you use for your business have affiliate programs. Some of the best ones I have seen are below:

Coaching: Is there something you absolutely can talk about for hours and hours even if you weren’t getting paid? Well, let’s do that, BUT get paid! If you’re not already considering adding some 1-1 or small group coaching programs. This isn’t everyone’s jam, but if it is and people are picking up what you’re putting down, hey #revenuestream.
SWAG- do you rock some legit sayings all the time? Are people constantly quoting you? Do you have a mission that is so strong in your heart you think people should be wearing it to promote to the world as well as feel instantly stronger when they put it on? SWAG baby! Ecommerce. You can put logos on ANYTHING. Hats, shirts, bags – those are typical, but think outside the box, power banks, ring lights, water bottles, even do kids sizes of things. I once got a cape that was logoed for a group I was in for my son. A kids cap y’all. He wears it ALL THE TIME. Get creative!
So we’ve talked about why you need or should want to have multiple streams of revenue, we’ve talked about several ways to diversify, once you dig in, fill out your pre-call questionnaire, set up a call with me and let’s figure out the best one for YOU to get started. Remember not every affiliate program is right for everyone and you have to be careful about shiny bobble syndrome! Keep rocking your badass CEO self!
Talk soon!
